I2X Technologies is seeking aSoftware Engineer / Developerto support ongoing activities for a cutomer in Colorado Springs, CO .This position will be on-site and will require an activeSecretclearance.
- Full-stack developer working on both front-end and back-end software
- Developing automated tests (unit tests, service level tests, and end-to-end tests) to ensure high quality software is built into our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Code on GPS systems
- Direct experience with Architecture Evolution Plan
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional experience
- Must be a US Citizen; Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Development experience with any of the following programming languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, C#
- Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containers) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools
Desired skills:
- Recent on-program experience as a technical software lead (e.g., architecture design, technical research, project management, define/enforce code quality standards, etc.)
- Development experience with Linux and shell scripting (e.g., bash, ash, ksh)
- Familiarity with the Space Domain
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional results
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Essential Requirements:
