The Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Pittsburgh is appointing a Fulbright Scholar to teach one 3-credit course as part of the scholar's Fulbright term at Pitt.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a 3-credit, in-person course for the Center for Latin American Studies
- Provide all instruction and course materials in English.
- Deliver one public presentation in area of research during appointment.
- Hold office hours per week to support enrolled students.
- Pursue research activities either in person or virtually, according to the scholar's preference and project needs.
- Support relevant research activities under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Latin American Studies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Latin American Studies, History, Anthropology, or related area.
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
