This role is central to developing new equipment standards, enhancing automation processes, and ensuring that all control systems perform reliably and efficiently. As part of the controls team, you will collaborate with production, maintenance, tooling, and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing performance, reduce downtime, and strengthen technical capabilities across the facility.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong background in industrial equipment design, injection molding and electrical panel building
- Advanced skills in troubleshooting and commissioning Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet fieldbus networks
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 7 years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with ENGEL machines and KUKA or FANUC robotic systems
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and MicroLogix PLCs, PanelView Plus HMIs, and Allen Bradley VFDs
- Ability to create and modify electrical schematics using AutoCAD
- Communicate effectively in Advanced English
Position OverviewAs a Spvr, Maintenance Sr., you will provide technical support for the industrial controls used throughout the manufacturing process. You will contribute to developing control standards and configurations for new equipment, create and maintain documentation for control applications, and oversee the installation and integration of control systems on new and existing machinery.
Your responsibilities include implementing programming changes needed to maintain or improve manufacturing processes, analyzing opportunities for automation, and recommending enhancements that support efficiency and reliability. You will train production and maintenance personnel on system operations, programming, and troubleshooting, ensuring strong technical understanding across teams.
Additionally, you will support the tooling department with control-related design needs and assist the controls engineering supervisor and manufacturing leadership in developing long‑range plans aligned with corporate objectives. Maintaining compliance with company policies, quality expectations, safety standards, and OSHA regulations is an essential component of this role.
This position requires strong technical judgment, advanced controls knowledge, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
