NetPlanner Systems, Inc.Position SummaryThe Summer Financial Analyst & Accounting Intern will support the Accounting and Finance team with a variety of analytical, operational, and general accounting tasks. This role is designed for a college student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who is looking to gain practical, realworld experience in their area of study. The intern will work closely with accounting staff and leadership to assist with daily operations, financial reporting, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with general accounting duties, including:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Data entry, journal entries, and monthend close support
- Maintaining organized financial records and documentation
- Support financial analysis tasks such as:
- Preparing and updating financial reports and spreadsheets
- Assisting with budget tracking and variance analysis
- Gathering and analyzing data for management review
- Participate in special projects related to process improvement, reporting enhancements, or financial modeling as assigned
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal procedures
- Perform other administrative or accountingrelated tasks as needed
Qualifications- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with financial software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
