Highly technical procedures and techniques involving molecular biology, physiology and genomics of mouse physiology, and omics data processing and analysis will be necessary to complete project aims. Translational laboratory research will be the primary responsibility. This requires experimental design, developing new projects and protocols, preparing samples and train/oversee trainees for projects with the end result being publications and grant applications.
Assistance with writing protocols, manuscripts, and grant applications, as well as review of literature to identify protocols necessary for edge of science breakthroughs will be necessary.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesSkillful presentation and speaking abilities, application and grant writing skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively delegate to and manage peers. Plan, perform, and analyze experiments.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
