We are searching for the best talent for Evidence & Modeling Analytics Intern to be in remote or hybrid.Purpose: The Evidence & Modeling Analytics Intern will support Innovative Scientific Analytics by strengthening the generation of high-quality evidence through economic modeling, literature review, and structured code validation. This role focuses on producing analytic inputs and outputs, including literature review and summaries, code searches and validation, and budget impact and cost-effectiveness models that translate data into meaningful insights for decision-making across the product lifecycle. By advancing ISA's capabilities in sophisticated modeling and rigorous research, the intern helps deliver scientific evidence that informs payers, policymakers, and internal stakeholders.
You will be responsible for:- Assist in the development and validation of health economic models, including budget impact models, cost-per-responder analyses, and disease progression models.
- Support targeted literature reviews of published economic evaluations, clinical trials, and real-world studies to inform model structure, inputs, and assumptions.
- RWE and treatment guideline literature search, review, and summary. Code search and review: NDC, GPI, HCPCS, ICD-9 and ICD-10 diagnosis codes.
- Prepare presentation materials, integrating feedback from the supervisor and cross-functional project teams to ensure clarity and scientific excellence.
Qualifications / Requirements:- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Decision Sciences, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field. Open to PharmD candidates or MS students with prior experience in consulting or industry, including developing de novo models.
- Foundational knowledge of pharmaceutical economic evaluation in the US market and comparative effectiveness methodologies, including network meta-analysis and matching-adjusted indirect comparison.
- Prior publication(s) involving cost-effectiveness analysis (e.g., manuscripts, conference presentations) is strongly preferred.
- Programming experience with Markov models, partitioned survival analysis, or discrete event simulation in Excel/VBA, R, or Python.
- Prior experience with health economic modeling in oncology, hematology, immunology, or neuroscience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex health economic methods to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- GPA: Preferably 3.5

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension).
