Under general direction of the Supervising Insurance Examiner (Bureau Chief) of the Field Examination Bureau 3, the Office Technician (Typing) (OT) performs a variety of the most difficult general office duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence and originality in performing the assigned task. The OT performs a variety of secretarial and technical support/assistance to the Financial Surveillance Branch (FSB) in the Sacramento and Oakland Office.

Working Conditions - The incumbent must be able to work in a high-rise building.
- The incumbent may telework in accordance with CDI's Telework Policy. Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify
- May sit and work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to move 20-30 pounds for short distances.
