Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will support manufacturing and operations teams in process improvement, machine cycle time studies, and documentation management. This internship provides hands-on experience in optimizing production processes and maintaining manufacturing documentation.
***This internship is located in Lapeer, MI and is fully onsite.
Essential Functions: - Support process improvement initiatives, including time studies and cycle time analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Assist in coordinating cross-departmental projects and help implement new manufacturing processes.
- Analyze production data and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices in production and process development.

Minimum Qualifications: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Education & Experience Background Prerequisites:Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
