Position OverviewAssist the IT Security team in supporting, enhancing, and monitoring Encore's information security program. You will gain hands-on experience working with security tools, policies, and processes that help protect Encore's applications, systems, and data. Responsibilities may include supporting vulnerability management efforts, assisting with security monitoring, performing risk assessments, and documenting security controls and procedures. This position is based in Coppell, TX Temporary housing is not provided for this role.
Key Job Responsibilities- Working under the supervision of senior members of the IT Security team, assist in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating security risks across applications, systems, and infrastructure.
- Support vulnerability management activities, including vulnerability scanning, analysis of results, and tracking remediation efforts.
- Assist with security monitoring and incident response activities, including reviewing alerts, documenting findings, and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Work with IT and application teams to help ensure security requirements are incorporated into system designs, enhancements, and deployments.
- Assist in the documentation of security policies, standards, procedures, and compliance evidence to support audits and risk assessments.
- Participate in security awareness initiatives and help promote secure computing practices across the organization.
Job Qualifications- Basic understanding of information security concepts such as network security, system security, authentication, and access controls
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows and/or Linux), networking fundamentals, and common security threats
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication, documentation, and customer service skills
- Highly motivated individual with a passion for cybersecurity, continuous learning, and attention to detail

Hourly Pay Range: $19.99 - $20.00
The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the job posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. In addition, some positions may be eligible for other compensation such as potential overtime, bonuses or incentives.
