Under the general direction of the CEA Chief of Systems Change and Equity, the Analyst III is responsible for providing high-level expertise and co-lead of the key major projects associated with the Systems Change and Equity Division. The Analyst III supports the Office of Youth and Community Restoration (OYCR) in the implementation of Senate Bill 823, Chapter 337, and Statutes of 2020, which promotes evidence-based trauma and healing responsive, culturally respectful, and gender specific services for youth involved in the juvenile justice system. These services are designed to support the youths' successful transition into adulthood and help them fulfill their goals and achieve their potential as responsible, thriving, and engaged members of their communities. The key major projects within the Systems Change and Equity Division supports project teams that develop specific work plans and implement work towards provision of TA for CBO Capacity development, improved services and policy development for Tribal Youth and to End Incarceration of Girls and Gender Expansive Youth; improve relations among systems and community partners, and improve effective policy development and relations among public serving county based commissions.

Working Conditions This position can be located in the following counties:
Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego, Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and Ventura.
This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order N-22-25 and at the sole discretion of CalHHS under California Government Code Section 14200. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be re-evaluated at any time. The incumbent will be expected to report for in office work and attend work related in-person events as deemed operationally necessary. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the CalHHS policies.
