The NPA Team is responsible for annual certification renewals, new applications, and conducting monitoring of approximately 800 NPAs.
The incumbent in this position will support the NPA Unit by performing a variety of administrative and organizational tasks. Responsibilities include organizing NPA applications and supporting documents, tracking items received, maintaining records of correspondence between staff and agencies, and assisting with the development and upkeep of resource materials.
The CDE is located at 15th and N Streets in downtown Sacramento-just steps from the State Capitol, Capitol Park, restaurants, and Light Rail access.

Working Conditions IN OFFICE POSITION
This position is headquartered in Sacramento and requires the incumbent to report to the office five days a week. This position is not eligible for telework.

Special Requirement:
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with at least six (6) semester units, or nine (9) quarter units, with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
This is a non-tenured intermittent position. Students in this position may work up to 1,500 hours in a 12 consecutive month period .
