The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology and the Vascular Medicine Institute at the University of Pittsburgh seeks a qualified Program Manager to conduct high-level program, project and grant support for the faculty and administration.
1. Provide administrative support for program project grant submissions and assume responsibility for managing program project grants that are selected for funding by the sponsor
2. Preparation of faculty biosketches and other support documents for grant submissions.
3. Research conference and special event coordination
4. Assistance with paperwork required for faculty promotions and research visitors and students
5. General administrative support for faculty
6. General operational support for administrative leadership team
Job Summary
Performs all administrative and operational functions of a program. Coordinates all program events and personnel and provides services directly to customers. Develops and implements program policies and procedures. Performs budgetary functions and oversees media communications, website updates, and newsletters.
Essential Functions
Preferred familiarity with Pitt systems including Concur, Panther Express. Must be experienced in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
Physical Effort
Must be able to move between university offices and buildings. Mostly sedentary.
