What the ideal candidate will do:
- Able and willing to work in an industrial machine shop environment.
- Work effectively as a part of the Engineering team to manufacture, assemble, and test various aircraft components, balancing machines, and test articles.
- Collaborate and complete assigned tasks and projects to meet customer requirements.
- Resolve issues, report observations, and results to customers and engineers.
- Must be a US Person (U.S Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience with a mechanical background; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Experience with manufacturing machine assembly and troubleshooting.
- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred.
- Must be able to read blueprints/drawings (mechanical required, electrical desired).
- Must be able to use tools such as torque wrenches and power tools.
- Must be detail oriented, strong communications skills, math skills,good mechanical aptitude, Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc. Experience in SAP preferred.
- Some travel required, sometimes international.
