Warehouse Associate (Full Time) - Calgary, ABPrimary PurposeThe Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for inventory and asset management, and related equipment maintenance.
Key Accountabilities- Support daily distribution operations
- Perform shipping and receiving activities
- Provide holiday and sick coverage for HSR routes, including driving and delivering compressed and liquid oxygen to hospitals and residential customers (1-ton box truck)
- Provide holiday and sick coverage for dispatching and load coordination
- Perform Quality assurance functions and complete daily review of HSR documentation for accuracy.
- Communicate and trouble shoot with internal and external customers via phone and email
- Perform administrative duties, including document sorting and filing, and updating and maintaining data in internal systems
- Comply with Linde safety policies and procedures and support their implementation and enforcement within the warehouse
- Comply with Linde asset management policies, including adherence to FIFO procedures to support effective inventory management
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, garbage removal, and box recycling
- Clean shelving and ensure walkways meet safety standards
- Manage customer-owned equipment
- Assist with Cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment
Required QualificationsEducation- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (non-probationary)
Experience- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service environment
- 1 year of warehouse and inventory management experience
- Minimum 3 years of valid driving experience with a clean driving record
- 2 years of delivery driver experience (asset)
- 1 year of forklift experience (asset)
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Safety-conscious with the ability to operate analytical and mechanical equipment
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate internal record-keeping and compliance with government regulatory requirements
- Customer-focused, patient, organized, and able to prioritize and follow through on tasks
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word) with the ability to independently learn new software and systems
- Proficient with smartphone technology
- Willing and able to participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends, for oxygen equipment delivery
- JDE experience is an asset
