Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Business Systems Analyst 3 (Payroll) for one of the largest Health Plan clients

Job Title Business Systems Analyst 3 (Payroll systems)

Location Remote in California

Duration 9+ Months contract

Day to Day Responsibilities

Subject matter expert for end-to-end payroll operations

Partner closely with Payroll leadership, P&E Technology, Payroll Business Analyst, and cross-functional teams to support testing configuration in the new Workday Payroll and Time Entry system

Apply knowledge of payroll principles, tax regulations, compliance standards, and system configuration to support implementation activities

Support payroll team with audit activities, reporting, and additional payroll-related projects as needed

Collaborate with HR: Connect and HR Shared Services teams to ensure alignment across payroll operations and system updates

Required Skills

Payroll Business Analyst experience – 2+ years

Payroll Specialist experience – 5+ years (current and continuous payroll experience required within the last year)

Workday Payroll processing experience – 2+ years

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting UKG transition to Workday configuration and testing

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification

Strong proficiency in Excel and Business Intelligence reporting

Software Skills Required

Ultipro, UKG Workforce Management, Workday Payroll

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $45–$50/hr. on W2 . Benefits will be available, and details are available at the following links:
