A well-established manufacturer in the motor vehicle manufacturing industry is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
- Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of motor vehicle engineering experience
- Knowledge of lean, Sig Sigma, or continuous improvement manufacturing methods
- Ability to oversee projects from inception to implementation
- Ability to work cross functionally with quality, design, and production teams
