Job Duties:
Operating self-propelled equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; driving truck with trailer for transporting crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another.
Approximate staggered entry:
2 workers needed Aug 1 to assist the preparing machinery and equipment at worksite in Benson, MN and 1 worker needed Sept 1.

Minimum Education Required
None. No High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of 6 months recent and verifiable experience required.
Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
Must be able to obtain appropriate driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record.
Must speak and understand English.
Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures.
Extensive pushing and pulling is required.
Extensive walking or sitting is required.
Frequent stooping or bending over is required.
Repetitive movements are required.
Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.

Additional Compensation
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 04/07/2026). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
