Our client is seeking a Sales and Customer Service Representative to join their growing food service sales team in the Madison, Wisconsin area. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with a rapidly expanding contract food-service company serving businesses throughout South Central Wisconsin.

A Day in the Life of the Outside Sales and Customer Service Representative
In this role, you'll focus on growing business relationships and driving new customer acquisition throughout South Central Wisconsin. You'll meet with prospective clients, present food and beverage service solutions, and help customers understand the value of the company's products and systems. This position plays an important role in supporting company growth while delivering excellent customer experiences and long-term client partnerships.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and selling new business accounts on behalf of the company
- Scheduling meetings and preparing proposals for prospective customers
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Maintaining organized customer records and account information
- Explaining product features, services, and benefits to customers
- Assisting with installations, catering events, and grand openings for new customers
- Training customer employees on products and systems
- Using email and Microsoft Office tools for communication and organization
- Completing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous outside sales or face-to-face sales experience required (3+ years)
- Able to work around 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with heavy driving and prospecting responsibilities several days per week
- Food and beverage industry experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to generate new business
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
- Basic technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
