Sales Engineer The Sales Engineer serves as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams, providing engineering expertise throughout the sales process. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Quality to develop and deliver engineered solutions that meet customer requirements while driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term business relationships. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical resource for customers throughout the sales cycle. Evaluate customer requirements, specifications, and applications to recommend optimal product and manufacturing solutions. Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to develop technical proposals and custom solutions. Support the quoting process by defining technical scope, materials, manufacturing feasibility, and project requirements. Present product capabilities, technical solutions, and value propositions to customers. Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and design reviews to ensure alignment on technical and commercial requirements. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and product guidance throughout the customer lifecycle. Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships. Maintain accurate opportunity, project, and customer data within CRM systems. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and customer transitions from development through production. Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive technologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. 3–7 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role. Experience supporting custom, engineered-to-order, or highly technical products preferred. Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, electronics, energy, or advanced manufacturing environments is a plus. Experience with microelectronic assemblies, packaging technologies, brazing, electroplating, or precision manufacturing processes is highly desirable. Proficiency with CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
