About the Role As a Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and working with teams cross functionally to ensure that production runs smoothly. This is a hands-on role that will require a consistent floor presence, proven leadership ability in a manufacturing environment, and an ability to create and follow maintenance plans. What You'll Do
- Direct and develop a high performing maintenance team by creating and owning the daily plans
- Overseeing Technicians and Machinists to ensure that maintenance activities are being executed
- Coordinate repair projects, preventative maintenance, and tool room projects
- Align maintenance activities with operational priorities
- Partner with Engineering to evaluate machine health data
- Drive continuous improvement through cost effective, data-informed solutions to recurring equipment issues
- Compile and communicate maintenance performance metrics to support informed decision making
- Manage maintenance vendor relationships, pricing, scheduling, and invoices
What You'll Bring
- A heavy Industrial manufacturing background
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, electrical systems, motors, and VFDs
- PLC fundamentals (I/O, interlocks, sequencing) and controls troubleshooting ability
- Working knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, pumps, and actuators
- Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, controls, and process systems reliably
- Comfortable working with legacy equipment and incomplete documentation (Experience modernizing legacy industrial equipment a plus)
- A strong track record of proven leadership ability
- A willingness to provide a strong floor presence and urgency
- Ability to track and communicate practical maintenance data
