Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Supply Chain & Trade Compliance Coordinator to support international logistics, customs compliance, and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supply chain, logistics, shipping, or administrative experience who enjoys working with data, documentation, and process-driven environments.
While experience in customs compliance or FTZ operations is a plus, the hiring team is focused on finding a motivated, detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn and grow. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Support international shipping and trade compliance activities
- Review shipping documents, customs declarations, and commercial invoices
- Track and monitor shipment releases, customs inquiries, and shipment closures
- Assist with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) administration and reporting
- Perform data validation, inventory reconciliations, and valuation audits
- Maintain and update spreadsheets and compliance records
- Support compliance audits and periodic reporting requirements
- Communicate with customs brokers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders
- Help identify process improvements and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Basic understanding of logistics, shipping, or supply chain terminology
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently after training
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, shipping, or import/export environments
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Exposure to customs compliance, trade compliance, or Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)
- Experience working with documentation, audits, or data validation processes
