Description Production Assembler Location:Benicia Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Position Summary The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling wood components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Main Responsibilities
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required protective equipment at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or drawings to understand assembly requirements.
- Assemble wood components accurately and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Inspect parts and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Prepare and assemble materials to ensure on-time production.
- Report any issues or defects to the Production Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate daily progress and updates to the Production Supervisor.
- Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure (to 1/16 inch).
- Basic understanding of construction or assembly drawings (training provided).
- Comfortable using a computer or kiosk system.
- Enjoys hands-on work and working with tools.
- Ability to lift and maneuver large plywood sheets.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
