Hiring: Inventory Coordinator
Location: Merritt Island, FL 32953
Duration: 6 months (possible extension or full-time conversion based on performance)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to support a fast-paced construction environment by managing material tracking, GSE equipment, and logistics for an accelerated build effort.
Key Responsibilities
- Track materials, components, and GSE equipment allocation for each build
- Support deployment of equipment to ensure timely availability onsite
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) aligned with active schedules
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with suppliers and handlers
- Manage multiple moving parts across logistics, field operations, and supply chain
- Support receiving, inspection, and proper storage of materials
- Partner with procurement to expedite critical or short-lead materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and flag shortages/overages
- Act as the logistics point of contact between field teams and supply chain
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of inventory, logistics, or materials coordination experience
- Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Experience supporting equipment coordination and deployment
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a high-tempo, time-sensitive environment
Preferred
- Experience with construction or field operations supply chains
- Exposure to GSE equipment handling or coordination
- Experience supporting logistics for temporary or modular structure installations (e.g., tent structures)
- Ability to manage rapid-response or unplanned inventory movement scenarios
