Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and service UPS, PDUs, and battery systems (2–120KVA)

Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency field repairs at customer sites

Provide on-site and remote technical support for troubleshooting and first-time fix resolution

Communicate with technical support teams for complex issues and updates

Implement Field Change Notices and follow safety bulletins and service procedures

Complete service documentation including reports, timecards, expenses, and mileage accurately and on time

Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and inventory with regular cycle counts

Ensure compliance with safety standards and customer site requirements

Meet required response times and service quality expectations

Requirements

ASEET or AMEET certification (or currently pursuing)

OR 4+ years of military experience in a technical role

OR 2+ years of experience in a relevant electrical/field service industry

Strong troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical skills

Ability to work independently in field environments

Good communication and customer service skills

Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

Commitment to safety procedures and operational standards
