A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and support operational excellence efforts. This role will focus on improving productivity, reducing waste, increasing throughput, and enhancing overall plant performance while also supporting capital equipment projects and facility improvements across multiple U.S. locations.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and safety
- Lead scrap reduction, yield improvement, and productivity initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify process improvements
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
- Support equipment installations, capital projects, and operational upgrades
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve plant performance
- Facilitate root cause analysis, Kaizen events, and process optimization efforts
- Travel up to 20% to support projects at other facilities
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)
- 5+ years of manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills
- Experience within metals manufacturing, stamping, fabrication, processing, or industrial production environments preferred
- Lean Manufacturing experience required; Six Sigma experience is a plus
- Experience supporting equipment installations, process improvements, and capital projects
