Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and construction oversight of facilities at a major site in Kiln, MS.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design work and hands-on problem solving, ensuring structures are safe, compliant, and built to perform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and analyze structural systems for new and existing facilities
- Perform calculations and modeling to ensure structural integrity and compliance
- Create or review drawings in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil3D
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and construction teams
- Support construction oversight, ensuring builds align with design intent
- Manage projects independently, including planning, execution, and decision-making
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of structural engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. structural codes & standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC, etc.)
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- PTC (Windchill, Mathcad, Creo)
- Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D)
- Bentley (STAAD, RAM, MicroStation)
- RISA, EnerCalc, ANSYS, HiltiProfis, ArcGIS, Trimble
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice to Have
- PE license or working toward it
- Experience supporting government or federal facilities
