You will ensure accurate, consistent accounting practices while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to strengthen processes and resolve complex issues. You will also help maintain a strong internal control environment and support key audit activities. This position gives you the opportunity to influence enterprise‑wide financial operations and drive meaningful improvements in how Polaris manages cash flow and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead U.S. Accounts Payable and provide functional leadership for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within the Finance Shared Services Center
- Drive process improvements across Procure to Pay and Order to Cash, including enhancements to tools, systems, and workflows
- Build strong partnerships with Controllers, Managers, and cross‑functional teams across business units, functions, and geographies
- Resolve escalated issues that require higher‑level expertise or decision‑making
- Review and approve monthly account reconciliations
- Analyze Service Level Agreements and performance metrics to ensure service commitments are met
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Maintain a strong internal control environment, including execution of controls and approval of bank account validations
- Attract, lead, and develop team members, ensuring clear goals, effective resource allocation, and strong performance
- Participate in special projects as assigned

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum 8 years of finance or accounting experience
- Experience leading Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable teams
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with global teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools; MAPICS experience is a plus
- Proven ability to work with and influence cross‑functional teams
- Global travel required

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $135,000 to $170,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
