About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations for our growing law office. This is a part-time, in-office position. The Accountant will oversee bookkeeping, and financial reporting to keep our firm running smoothly. - Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Process client billing, track trust account transactions, and prepare invoices
- Coordinate payroll and benefits with external providers
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for management
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Assist with budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure compliance with firm policies
- Maintain compliance with accounting, tax, and trust account regulations applicable to law firms
- Recommend process improvements for financial efficiency

What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting/bookkeeping; law firm or professional services experience preferred
- Skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software; understanding of payroll, benefits, and trust account rules; strong organizational and communication skills
- Mindset: Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to manage multiple priorities in a small-office environment
